GreenHive is focused on promoting sustainability in education by encouraging collaboration, innovation, and environmental awareness. We aim to empower educators and students to take action toward sustainability and inspire a shared responsibility for a healthier planet.
1. Training for Educators: Collaboration with Teachers
GreenHive recently hosted online workshops to help educators integrate sustainability into their classrooms. These workshops allowed teachers to discuss ideas, share best practices, and explore new ways to teach sustainability.

2. Developing Educational Resources for Sustainability
GreenHive launched the European Sustainability Competence Framework (GreenComp), which highlights essential sustainability skills in four areas: sustainability values, embracing complexity, planning for a sustainable future, and acting for sustainability. These skills guide the development of educational resources that help students understand sustainability.

These materials are available in English, Spanish, Romanian, Italian, and Greek.
3. Innovative Learning Methods
GreenHive introduces creative learning techniques for sustainability education, including:

▪️Workshop Scenarios: Interactive activities that promote learning through case studies and discussions.
▪️Project-Based Learning: Opportunities for students to tackle real environmental challenges and build critical thinking skills.
4. Virtual Knowledge Fair: Global Sustainability Connections
GreenHive organized an online event for educators and professionals in vocational education to share knowledge and best practices in sustainability education. The event featured sustainability-focused discussions and virtual pavilions on key topics.

5. Future Plans
GreenHive has two exciting initiatives ahead:
- European Contest – "Sustainability: New Perspectives For A Wicked Problem": A competition encouraging participants to co-create sustainability solutions in vocational education, fostering cross-European collaboration.
- GreenHive Platform Development: A platform connecting 15 local hubs to improve sustainability skills for 225 students through transnational collaboration. The platform will offer educational resources, event creation tools, networking spaces, and multilingual support.
